All the boards had to be removed and replaced with plywood as Barry recommended this to accommodate the weight of the marble tiles. He explained for the floor he placed a membrane down for the chipped floor which allowed the subfloor to expand and contract. Barry is one of the best tradesmen I have ever used and his attention to detail is amazing.
